Crafty in the Med

I am here to enjoy meeting other bloggers and to share my love of craft ,mostly crochet, my thoughts and my daily happenings here in Alicante,Spain, my adopted country. I belong to a local choir because singing and music makes me happy. Flea markets and book shops are two of my favourite places to be. I read lots......sci´fi/fantasy,buried treasure, and off world adventures. I have a passion for history! I walk and walk and walk for about 10 months per year during the hot months I swim.

A different type of cozy!!

One of my latest creations and my own pattern....I call it a flower pot cozy...the eternal rounds again marvelous what you can do with a few rounds of half treble crochet. I've seen other types out there if you are looking for variety usually called Flower Pot covers.

I think...I do that sometimes!

I have decided!!! This blog is not just going to be crochet orientated it's going to be what I feel like adding orientated... I'm thinking I'm going to just go with the flow or the mood when I get time to add to it. OK! me.... lets not go into the harping on time and lack of it chant again!!! over and out :-)

What's next? I call it a Mediterranean sea web. It's a paper weight. Stone picked up on Urbanova beach,Alicante.

Showing the lining.

Snazzy hippy bag...shouder length

I saw this pattern on Lucy (The Queen of Colour) Attica 24 blog  and I really liked the vivid colours and the simplicity of it so I decided to make one ....yet....I don't know who its for...the lining isn't sewn in terribly well....I'm useless at sewing tch!
