Crafty in the Med

I am here to enjoy meeting other bloggers and to share my love of craft ,mostly crochet, my thoughts and my daily happenings here in Alicante,Spain, my adopted country. I belong to a local choir because singing and music makes me happy. Flea markets and book shops are two of my favourite places to be. I read lots......sci´fi/fantasy,buried treasure, and off world adventures. I have a passion for history! I walk and walk and walk for about 10 months per year during the hot months I swim.

All about LOVELY!

How lovely!!! I'd like to thank Angeliki  who nominated me for the Cool Blog award and Kate who nominated me for the One Lovely Blog award.  Thank you so much!

so...here we go....
1.I love singing! I feel so much better after a good sing song which I usually do while I clean the house,or prepare a meal or drive my car.
2. I'm a tea addict I cannot do without tea.
3. I love to read fantasy and science fiction novels or films and anything to do with treasure found...an arqueological dig...historical mysteries.
4.I want an intelligent dog but Willie the cat won't allow it.
5. I would love to visit Myanmar,my father told me so much about it. 
6.I don't like underground parking lots.  
7.I miss blackberry picking!

    Great minds think alike, dear Amanda! I was on my way over to read your new post when up popped your cheerful comment. First things first, congratulations on your award; I'm sure there will be more on their way soon. Secondly, I like you. It's just a feeling but I'm going with it.

    Right, down to business. I would be overjoyed to make you a liebre. You don't have to go through Etsy as I have already made special orders which were in the end also paid via good ol' Paypal. I do have a few to make but I'm more than happy to burn the midnight oil a little for your sister. I have so many ideas buzzing around my head but if you have a preference for certain colours, for example then I would love to hear from you. Try letting me know this week, please, so that I can start getting my thinking cap on. We are off on holiday mid August but I can try to get it done before then.

    Right, I will stop rambling. I hope that helps.

    Amanda, I don't have a blog yet. I'm still trying to decide if I have anything worth saying or sharing. I'm a 61 year old Grandmother who loves to read blogs and enjoys seeing everything each person does. I guess I'm basically nosy (LOL) Thanks for the welcome.
