I am here to enjoy meeting other bloggers and to share my love of craft ,mostly crochet, my thoughts and my daily happenings here in Alicante,Spain, my adopted country. I belong to a local choir because singing and music makes me happy. Flea markets and book shops are two of my favourite places to be. I read lots......sci´fi/fantasy,buried treasure, and off world adventures. I have a passion for history! I walk and walk and walk for about 10 months per year during the hot months I swim.

Shout out for a bit of help as I am not getting much from blogger




Hello to All

I'll be brief blogger is doing its best to irritate me greatly or MUCHO....it seems some of you cannot see my recent post titled "thanks and on its way"or my icon on your blog posts list on your sidebars

you know like this one:






















I've been fiddling around all morning looking here and there on google to get some help because the blogger help doesn't help much except to suggest the blog list should be updated frequently and to do so by logging out and logging in. I've done that and it still doesn't appear on some bloggers blog post lists although they have added it to their blog list.  Right well I've done this and that not really sure what but I think I've fixed it but I need you to check it out for me.

Could I ask you all pretty please when you have time to check you can see my icon on your blog posts list and if it is my latest post which is this one titled Shout out for a bit of help ect....

Just a yes I can see it  or no I can't comment here would be greatly appreciated.

PS: oh yes and  if you haven't ever added my blog to your posts list thats ok this doesn't mean you have to I'm just trying to get this glitch sorted.

    Hi there Amanda! Thank you for popping over to my blog and for joining in the swap - last years was great, everyone really got into the spirit of it with some great ideas. With regards your issue, what you could possibly try is going onto your own 'posts' list, opening your lost post to 'edit' it, click in 'HTML' and then copy and paste into a new post. It may return your lost one, but I dont know about kicking the sidebars' behinds!

    Many thanks for your help however I haven't lost that post as some bloggers did see it on their blog lists but others didn't. I'm trying to find out if it was a problem with just that post and all my followers can see this my latest post on their blog lists.
    This is a good tip though which I'm going to store.

    The last swap I did was hosted by katie at Booty-ful things ...the Jar of Love swap and it was brill so I'm dead keen to do another

    Well I was all ready to pile in and help ... but I can see you no trouble.

    If it's still a problem have you checked which platform the bloggers who can't see you are on, it may be that you're running something that is incompatible with WordPress or TypePad.

    thanks for your help and no I hadn't thought of that...but Sandi (mutual follower) is WordPress and she hasn't any problems as far as I know. Tch!!! but going to check it out.

    Hello Amanda....I see you all the time! sometimes I don't have time to comment on everything but I still see you! Maybe it was a glitch on your end!! I totally understand how it can drive you nuts...my header does that all the time...one day it's like it is supposed to be and then the next it's not! So I had someone make it for me and I LOVE IT!

    HI Amanda, yes I have got it on my blog. I have been blogging for almost a year now and still think I get by on a wing and a prayer. Still dont understand fully what I am doing on it and am amazed when everything turns out as it should! Hope you are ok over there!!!

    Hi Amanda. I can see you too. Thanks for your comments. I've deleted the post as it was all very 'blah', but having been let down by a swap partner (and hearing that I'm not the only one), left me feeling a tad fed up with blogging. A parcel I sent on a previous swap went missing in the post, so I made another up at quite considerable expense, but sadly not all swappers bother with their end of the bargain. Moan over! XX

      Thats awful not surprised you've been put off blogging that and add the mess up from blogger on your blog. I see Its back to the same now as well. Have you thought of starting a new blog and deleting the old one? I know its a bit drastic but it would be a fresh start.
      Don't give up though Helen I'd hate to lose a blogfriend :-)
