Crafty in the Med

I am here to enjoy meeting other bloggers and to share my love of craft ,mostly crochet, my thoughts and my daily happenings here in Alicante,Spain, my adopted country. I belong to a local choir because singing and music makes me happy. Flea markets and book shops are two of my favourite places to be. I read lots......sci´fi/fantasy,buried treasure, and off world adventures. I have a passion for history! I walk and walk and walk for about 10 months per year during the hot months I swim.

A very important member of the family

I think its time I introduced Willie. Most certainly an important member of our family since he adopted us 18 years ago.

Willie has a story which I will tell you about in my next post!  A.

  2. Hi there belaboo thanks for your comments and I hope you like the next installment of Willie's story! :-) Actually...sorry to say Willie isn't very sweet at least not to anyone out of the family....he isn't people friendly...in fact he only just tolerates my granddaughter and that is when she is eating fish! I really think he could be more grateful but well .... he's too toffee nosed by half!
Kittens in your laundry basket ....what a lovely surprise!

    Keep well!

  3. Hello Amanda...and, sweet little Willie!
Thank you for visiting my blog and for your kind comments! I just had to come and visit you, too! I am touched to see your darling tabby cat! My husband and I have experienced a similar tale with our Nicholas, who adopted us and lived for almost 20 years with us. He was a tabby, too...and, we loved him so much! Your Willie looks just like him!
Your blog is delightful and I am happy to become one of your friends and followers!
Have a sweet day, my dear new friend!
    Blessings,
    Carolynn >^^<

    1. Hello Carolynn
Thank you for following my blog and your kind comments
almost 20 years Carolynn wow!!! that's a ripe old age for a cat. Much as I hate to say it I don't think our cat will live that long he is having problems with his back legs and at times finds it difficult to walk.

      Keep well

      Amanda :-)
