Crafty in the Med

I am here to enjoy meeting other bloggers and to share my love of craft ,mostly crochet, my thoughts and my daily happenings here in Alicante,Spain, my adopted country. I belong to a local choir because singing and music makes me happy. Flea markets and book shops are two of my favourite places to be. I read lots......sci´fi/fantasy,buried treasure, and off world adventures. I have a passion for history! I walk and walk and walk for about 10 months per year during the hot months I swim.

Sending a smile


Over a month since I posted last....tch!!!



I am still around in blogland just fighting to find a moment to write up a decent post!!   I AM reading lots of posts on lots of blogs over breakfast...I allow myself that at least!!!

I haven't bought my crochet borders book yet but still want to!! Life is a hassle at present.... bright new academic year!!

    Keep well Amanda! I'm very busy too at the moment - 8 hours a day four times a week, plus planning & other phone lessons rather takes up a lot of time! Just time to call in on my favourite blogs from time to time! Look after yourself.

      I totally agree! That is a lot per day . The lesson planning takes up so much of my time especially as companies request teacher designed courses more and more now . I so miss not being able to keep up a regular flow of posts and responses to comments on other blogs as I used to.

      It'll settle down more or less until January and then new courses start up again. I have to get myself into a rhythm Jan and then I can manage better .
