I am here to enjoy meeting other bloggers and to share my love of craft ,mostly crochet, my thoughts and my daily happenings here in Alicante,Spain, my adopted country. I belong to a local choir because singing and music makes me happy. Flea markets and book shops are two of my favourite places to be. I read lots......sci´fi/fantasy,buried treasure, and off world adventures. I have a passion for history! I walk and walk and walk for about 10 months per year during the hot months I swim.

It is a good day


Happy Mother's day !!!!


to all the Mothers out there who celebrate Mother's Day today as they do in this part of the world!

.....and the wonderful thing about a mother's love is that it is the same worldwide. There are no barriers whatsoever; it makes no difference your position in life,age ,race or beliefs as WE ARE united in this sentiment  !!!!!

As one mother to another,another and another ....my love goes out to you all and ...... we will endure through thick and thin .

    Underneath those lovely tulips, is absolutely
    'spot on'...That was mia Mama down to a tee!
    But then, almost ALL Mama's, l would imagine!
    Truly amazing! :).

    And...the photo through the lovely arch is truly
    lovely...The sea, the sky...wonderful! :).

    Happy mother's day to you, as well! We will celebrate it next Sunday and it is the first time for years that we will stay at home. The last years it was always my grandma's birthday and we had to go by car about 250 km. This year her birthday is on the following Monday so we can stay at home and don't have to get up early. That'S really nice! Enjoy spring! Viola
