I am here to enjoy meeting other bloggers and to share my love of craft ,mostly crochet, my thoughts and my daily happenings here in Alicante,Spain, my adopted country. I belong to a local choir because singing and music makes me happy. Flea markets and book shops are two of my favourite places to be. I read lots......sci´fi/fantasy,buried treasure, and off world adventures. I have a passion for history! I walk and walk and walk for about 10 months per year during the hot months I swim.

Cuddle up!!!



Many Many thanks for your get well good wishes from all you lovely bloggers. I think I have it under control now although my tummy is very sensitive still.  One really nasty virus!!!!!

 



I have just seen on BBC World News









the horrendous blizzard that is coming your way all you bloggy friends over there in the USA (east coast)  so I just wanted to send a shout out to you all from across the pond to take care and....


"STAY SAFE AND WARM"

 

Lets hope it isn't as bad as they forecast!!!

    Just love all those little kittens. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Sounds like the storm is going to be quite bad, here's hoping they have got it wrong. Take care.

    I'm glad you're feeling better. There are some nasty bugs out there this year and they seem to be all over the world! Cute picture of the kitties. And yes the snow is falling at my daughters in Washington DC right now. But they're all home and safe as long as the electricity stays on They'll be fine.

    The kitties are so adorable! Unfortunately the forecast in my area of West Virginia is worse than predicted. So far, about 15 inches.

    I'm glad you are feeling better, Amanda! Thanks for the well wishes for our East Coasters. My oldest son's family is in the NYC area, so I am wondering how much snow they will get. I love the cats by the fireside :) xx

    Yes! The poor old world is in a bit of a state!
    What with the weather, wars, killings..etc. Not
    good at all...Who's fault is it...Ours! Never
    understand why at this point in the planets
    history...people just can't live together! :(.

    On a lighter note...After your ironing 'moan'
    and Julie's (mythreadbearlife) post on the recovering
    of her ironing board..I popped along to Homebase in the
    week and got a litre of 'Honeysuckle Pink' paint, and
    gave my old wooden ironing board a couple of coats, looks
    great, needs a new cover now..On the list for next week!
    Something pinky of course..So now l can iron my pink
    sheets, with my pink iron, on my pink ironing board.
